Reviews
"Superbly written, wholly satisfying, unforgettable: better than any fantasy trilogy in print--including mine!"--Melanie Rawn "With shimmering language and the alluring garb of Faerie, Hobb concludes her Farseer trilogy with this immense coming-of-age novel."--Publishers Weekly From the Paperback edition.

Synopsis
With her awe-inspiring "Farseer" trilogy, Robin Hobb has established herself as a writer who "continues to revitalize a genre that often seems all too generic, making it new in ways that range from the subtle to the shocking" ("Locus"). Now she presents a masterful finale that sends FitzChivalry--assassin, royal bastard, and king's pawn--on the ultimate quest: to eliminate the man who has stolen the throne and corrupted all he once held dear.

Would buy from again. Since the picture was just a stock picture, I was at the mercy of luck that the book would be the edition I wanted. Sad that it wasn't signed, but it was also not advertised as such.

    • Robin Hobb Never Fails To Amaze.

It's 3 for 3 for author Robin Hobb starting with Assassin's Apprentice, continued with Royal Assassin and concluded with the satisfying Assasssin's Quest. I first read the author's first two books Fitz and the Fool trilogy (I know I am dumb by doing that but I am quite young by then to know of this first trilogy) and it gave some insight and surprises for me on why things are happening on this later series. Having read this 'origin' tales of FitzChivalry gives me satisfaction like recalling an illusive childhood memory. This is highly recommended, and I suggest you start with the beginning to better enjoy the lyrical tales spun by this wondrous author.
