Basic and practical.
The Logan F300-1 Studio Frame Joiner is just what it is offered to be, an inexpensive and very efficient way to quickly assemble strong and square picture frame corners. This frame joiner is easy to use if you follow the directions, and produces tight precise corners. It drives the v nails very well with a minimum of effort, and quite frankly, I am baffled by those reviewers who say they had trouble with it. As a caveat, I should point our that I am a former finish carpenter. And prior to purchasing the F300-1, I made dozens of frames the hard way, with a Rube Goldberg assembly of clamps. So for me this Logan frame joiner was an answer to my prayers. For the casual picture framer or hobby artist, this is the way to go.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Huge help for framing
I ran a top-notch frame shop all my life and when I retired I still wanted to make frames. Joining the corners is tricky… nails just don’t work right, and this type of underpinning system is what professionals use. It’s slow, of course, but does just the same job a pro underpinner does, enabling me to build professional frames again.

Works perfectly
I have pro level framing equipment..just 50 frames in the last three weeks. I got this for the times when I do not to do a major setup. First frame out of the box and this did a super job. Nail put all the way into the frame back. I also recommend that the frames be glued before nailing for a permanent job.
