Best ultra wide zoom... EVER!
Absolutely the best ultra wide zoom for full-frame DSLR or 35mm film cameras which use the new G-series lenses (e.g., Nikon F5 and F6). Clean images edge to edge at all focal lengths. I have not seen any chromatic aberration in any images from this lens. A superb lens.

Excellent Lens, Good Value.
Excellent crystal clear wide angle photos. Not as big, heavy and bulky as the reviews say, only 7oz heavier than my Tamron 24-70 which is still my favorite lens. Build quality is good but cosmetically I wish they would have put there trademark gold band on it as they did with there 24-70 and the 70-200. I'm very happy with the fast focus on this lens and all my Tamron lenses. Just can't beat the 2.8 for the low light. I rarely use the flash anymore.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tamron 15-30 Nikon mount
Edge to edge sharpness, even wide open. Clearly outresolves the 24MP sensor. Well controlled flare and CA's. Focusing accuracy in low light could be better on my D610 but that I can live with that. It's just great!
I consider this 15-30 Tamron lens my best lens. It runs several hundred dollars less than the similar Nikon and Sigma wide angle lenses that I have also tried. I use this on both my Nikon 750 and 610. This is a very heavy and solid piece of glass. The images are beyond great. It has stabilization and fixed f setting throughout the zoom. I wouldn't take anything else to the city or into a large building for a shoot. I'm not sure if it is water proof or just resistant but I've been caught in several heavy downpours with no signs of water infiltration. Although I've had this lens for several years I have not seen or used anything better on the market since I bought it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is one of the best lenses out there.
This lens is slightly better than Nikon 14-24mm F2.8 which I used to have. And with VC I can handhold it to 1/2 second which is the big plus. No need a tripod in low light. Sharpness is great corner to corner even at F2.8 and with 30mm I can use it as walkaround lens.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
