If you are a Doris Day fan and want a boxed set of her early hits, this is the collection for you. It contains all her Warner Brothers romantic comedies and musicals from her first movie in 1948 "Romance on the High Seas" through "Please Don't Eat the Daisies", "Billy Rose's Jumbo" and "Glass Bottom Boat", the last three originally released by MGM but acquired by Warner for home video. This collection is a testament to Day's acting talent with no acting lessons, dancing and singing, including her dramatic skills in "Love Me or Leave Me" that have not tarnished or lost their luster. "The Pajama Game" and "Jumbo" are seldom played on cable retro and movie channels. Even though she was out of the limelight for many years, the world felt empty when she passed away in 2019.
