it does not fit. even though it was for the same model it said it was for.
it does not fit. even though it was for the same model it said it was for. it a good quality & value if it fits properly and can only recommend it if the description says it fits my dryer, it should. sorry folks. It took forever to arrive and when it did I was disappinted. The know does not fit the way is should only the tip and it wont go in all the way. really disappointed.

Great alternative to GE part - 90% cheaper
Great value compared to the original GE part which costs nearly 10X what this costs. The only issue, which is a small inconvenience, is that the index mark on the dial is 180 degrees off from the mark on my old knob. Simple fix: I just installed a small strip of red electrical tape to the other side of the dial to serve as my index mark. I covered up the gray index mark with a small strip of white electrical tape. Problem solved! An affordable fix for a lightly used 20 year old dryer. Great value compared to the original GE part which costs nearly 10X what this costs. The only issue, which is a small inconvenience, is that the index mark on the dial is 180 degrees off from the mark on my old knob.
