    High quality

    I was unsure about buying a 12 point set as I normally use 6 points to minimise rounding on old machines. After use, I have no concerns, fitting is excellent t with no slop. Whitworth sockets are indispensable for most older machines - in my case, myfords and denford viceroy.

    Slightly chunky but did the job

    I needed a 1/8" Whitworth socket to undo an old electric motor. I had to grind down the supplied socket so that it would fit in the space around the nut, but that was only to be expected. The socket was fine for three of the four nuts, but slipped on the third, possibly because I had damaged it trying to undo it with an 8mm socket or the nut was manufactured small, or the socket a little large. (I eventually managed to disassemble the motor, mend two internal broken wires and reassemble satisfactorily, by the way.)
