I have a coworker who uses a different type of hand grip that isolates each finger that he thinks is a good product. I bought this and couldn't quite close it all the way. J worked with it for a few weeks and now can close it eight times fully. I took it to work and my coworker couldn't come close to closing it once. If u want to gain grip strength and not waste ur time, get these.

Build quality is rock solid, grip is perfect, not at all like the typical plastic toy version, no.1 is a serious challenge even for serious challengers. What disappointed me was discovering how the squeezing geometry of my left hand resists the coil in a less than perfect angle that requires noticeably less force to squeeze :'( i don't plan on doubling my investment for a lefty one. Also the spring is not pre-loaded at all so the first 50% or so of the motion is very easy, and the last half inch is very difficult (maybe even close to the estimated 140lbs). I prefer the threaded adjustable -$15 plastic version when i can't do real grip strength exercises via weights or hanging. These are great for arbitrary increments of somewhat standardized benchmarking, but at no small cost.

These grippers are very nice and definitely last. I just put in about 2000 reps or so by now after a few weeks to a month with them. So far they have lasted and still are in great condition. I’m going to move up to coc #2 right now as well. 5/5 stars

I didn't think level 1 would be this challenging. This is my first real gripper, and I must say, I'm very pleased. I look forward to ordering level 2 and 3 at some point. Product has exceeded my expectations. Very tough material. I LOVE it!

I bought all 3 levels, S, T, and 1 ....definately start out at S level, i do 20 reps about 10 sets on days I am bored....When I'm doing to them as a workout, I do 15 reps/ 2 sets of S, then move to 10 reps/2 sets of T, then i can get 1 or 2 reps of 1's ...defenitely warm up before attempting the level 1 as when i try it without warming up...i sprain my wrists every time!
