I am a great fan of Samsung products. I like what I see but I am still learning the unit. When I touch the screen on an icon there is a delay but that maybe because of the wireless system in the area or that this phone needs updated software. It looks good so far!

Great phone. Battery life isn't the best but for what it does, it's still very acceptable. I don't have a problem with that because I got a car charger and house charger so it's easy to just plug it in and keep it charged. You might want a spare battery if you aren't near a charger and spend a lot of time on the phone. I only charge once every few days. The qwerty keyboard is wonderful for those of us who have "touch screen-itis" -- that is, we always touch the v when we want c and keep changing screen sizes when all we want is our email. The screen isn't very touchy, though. I don't know if it's just mine or if all of them have to be touched fairly firmly. I've never had a phone with this many features before and the learning curve for me was okay. Couldn't have figured it out ... Great phone. But, the manual is free to download so you can safely buy a used Intercept and access the instructions. It's a Droid so you can do a lot with a very small investment. All in all, if you want a smart phone but don't want to drop a lot of money, I highly recommend the Intercept. And... bonus time! ... it's amazingly sturdy. It survived my toy fox terrier which is a good thing. I use Virgin Mobile and have 300 minutes and unlimited data for $35 a month which is a lot better than most plans. I text and use the Internet and apps but don't talk much so it's perfect.

Great Used price, bargain prepaid plan, Ton of features and keyboard!
It's not the nicest top of the line android phone, in fact it's fairly average, but it has some nice features! My daughter loves to text and the keyboard makes it so much easier. Some of the nice features are what's cool about the Android OS: voice control transcribing, GPS navigation, internet, mail, sms, etc. Being a Virgin Mobile alumni, this phone was easy to activate and use. We bought this smart phone used for less than $50. Again, it's not the top of the line but it's a real deal for anyone who can live without the latest and greatest but still wants a ton of features via Android! Really great phone, with minor pitfalls!
The Intercept is a great starter phone for those new to Smart Phones/Android. Great features including GPS, e-mail access, social networking apps and more. What I liked about it is that the internet service works anywhere there is wi-fi, including in Canada. However, the ringtone services leave much to be desired. VM does not have ringtones for this phone for purchase, while they support most of the other mobile phone ring tones. I had gotten what I thought was an upgrade, and once I started using my new phone, I really missed the Intercept. It also has access to the Google Play Store (with thousands of free games and apps) and as long as you have wi-fi, you can get updates, games, apps, access e-mail/facebook, and more.The Intercept is a great starter phone for those new to Smart Phones/Android. Great features and a good phone, monthly savings is a big plus.
It is pretty easy to use being both touch screen and actual keyboard. The battery runs out quickly you will need to plug it in during the day if you use it a lot, I got 6-7 hrs. The call quality and service is very good in our area, Tampa,FL. First Android phone I've had it seems to have more apps than one could ever need. The camera is great, much better than the 3.2mp on my Samsung Mythic. I have noticed if you are doing a lot of stuff and using apps and programs it kind of overloads and almost stops tell it catches up, it reminds me of using an old computer. If your a big multi-tasker buy a faster phone.
