Pressure Tank: Great for what I needed it for
I have a home water-distiller, that has a holding tank. I wanted to add a pump to deliver the water to my icemaker/water dispenser in my fridge, and a pot-filler at the stove I initially added an on-demand 120v pump to do the chores, alas, the pump would cycle-on/off/on rapidly due to the fact that the line to the fridge was small, and the pump would over pressure when demand was requested. When plumbing in this hardware, I allowed for a pressure tank, should it be needed. Within 10 minutes of getting this tank, I had it plumbed into the delivery system, and bingo! The tank reserves the water under pressure, and delivers on demand. The pump now cycles on about every 1.5 gallons, runs for about 10 seconds, then the pressure tank is full. EZ to install, perfect size for RV, does the job well
I used this in conjunction with a 10 gallon 12 volt electric powered weed sprayer that I converted into a shower for my expedition 4x4 van. This gem works perfectly. Now my water pump no longer cycles on and off constantly... maybe every 15 - 20 seconds at full flow, very nice. The mounting "legs" or bracket makes mounting a snap... and many other tanks I looked at did not have any mounting included. This is the perfect size accumulator tank for use in a camper. I installed it in our 5th wheel. For 13 years I have listened to the pump turn on and off rapidly. This tank eliminated all of that. Since I did not know the turn-on pressure for my pump...it was trial and error until I got the air pressure in the tank adjusted properly. When full...I get about a 1 gallon drawdown (which would be about right for a 2 gallon tank) before the pump turns on. Perfect! Thanks!This is the perfect size accumulator tank for use in a camper. So much better than the plastic tanks
I just opened this up, and wow. They claim it is stainless, which it looks to be. The build quality is fantastic, the threads are immaculate, and it seems to be built like a tank. I'm putting this in an RV, and so glad I found this unit as compared to the 1L plastic ones. Which, bizarrely, seem to be around the same price.

Nice looking tank with mounting. Mounting vertical is best (for me) to complete water system circulation. There is a schrader valve on opposite end of fill port under screw on contour screw on cap.
