    This ratchet handle has a magic trick

    This is the best ratchet handle for tight spaces I've ever had. I've had it over a year now. It operates just like any normal 1/4" ratchet with a black ring on the head to select clockwise/ anticlockwise and a central red button for the socket release but it also has a magic trick. As well as turning the handle normally you can twist the handle and it also drives the socket. This is exceptionally useful in tight spaces. The mechanism is ingenious in that twisting the handle in either direction still drives the socket in the direction selected. We just had to take it apart to find out how that was done! That revealed that it is very nicely made and should last well. Highly recommended for any serious engineer/mechanic/technician.

    Pleased with it.

    Glad I paid the extra for a versatile tool. Took a bit of fiddling (no instructions) to work out how to reverse the ratchet action - by pinching/pulling up the spring-loaded black ring on top side, & rotating it. Probably not an easy thing to do with cold stiff wet hands. I bought it for a motorcycle travel tool kit.

    1/4dr Rotator ratchet

    Excellent quality. Ratchet goes one way regardless of the direction the handle is rotated . The ratchet is also quick release. All in all a very nice little tool
