The item is a bit bulky. May slide while driving. I use mine in the dashboard of my car. The clamp that holds the GPS was harder to open at first but with time it is easier to open. I would say it is a fairly good value for the money. I would recommend this product.

I like the way it holds my GPS in it. I can see the GPS good. The unit looks good. But I don't like that it is supposed to stick on your dash. I don't want it stuck on my dash. I left the film over the sticker. I only use my GPS on occasions when I need it. I don't want it stuck on my dash. I would have looked at other holders if I knew what I do now. They never said anything about sticking to the dash. It could be heavier to prevent it moving around. My other holder was heavier. I still can put it in a spot thats fairly safer from it moving around if you slam on the brakes. Or from bumps.I like the way it holds my GPS in it. I can see the GPS good. The unit looks good. It is heavy enough to stay put on your dash. I haven't removed the film that covers the sticky tape on the back because I wanted to remove it daily. (Not my car). Make sure your GPS is not any larger than recommended. I would say that it ought to be placed on a flat part of the dash as the base is not very flexible. Definitely better than a window mount, in my opinion. Bought it online for $20 new.It is heavy enough to stay put on your dash. The mount's purpose is to hold the GPS/phone on the dash for long periods of time with no sliding. This mount serves that purpose. It's heavy, durable, and stays put. The only drawbacks are that the sticky price of rubber at the back is not as sticky as imagined. But this is also good because there is no effort needed to remove it. The other thing is that it doesn't handle sudden sharp turns. This will immediately cause it to slide off the dash immediately.
