Found mine for around $320. I use mine mainly for pig hunting at night. Screen is too small. Whole device is about the size of a flip phone (if you remember those). You can only "identify" what you are looking at out to about 20-30 yds., after that all you can see is movement/objects. Based on my use I would say the deer on the packaging is about 15-20 yds. away. It does show movement out to about 300 yds. on an open field. I tried the Seek thermals that plug into the smart phones, but connections were loose and images went in and out due to that. An improvement would be having the sensor on the back like a phone camera. When sitting in a blind you have to hold on its side and off to your side to view. Does not come with any kind of case and only a USB charger, no wall adapter for USB charger. Thankfully, the Reveal XR is simple to use (user's guide is PDF only and is 68 pages), durable and holds a charge well. The flashlight is extremely bright. Comes with a micro SD card so you take snapshots of the images. Shipped fast. My personal opinion is that $150-$200 would make the Reveal XR a good price for what it is/does.Read full review

It works as it says it will. I bought it for when I'm hunting. It will pick up heat signatures past 100 yds but it's very hard to tell what an animal is at that distance with it. Deer and hogs are fairly easy to spot but at 100 yds it's hard to tell what they are. It's great for tracking and recovering downed game. The flashlight is a great feature and very bright. Overall it's a good product and works as advertised.

I have owned this for only 1 month now. Tried this at midnight at my apartments and was able to see people at 90 to 100 yards. I then took this to the Jemez Mountains and was able to see my friend and his short hair hound between 100 and maybe 120 yards. It was about 50 degrees and no moon. I charged prior to leaving and it has held its charge for at least a week now with moderate use (your mileage may vary). I have found nothing bad about this imager at this time.

I used this little thermal seek last deer season and was pleasantly surprised with it. Works like a charm.

Field-tested this unit for the last couple days amazing quality clarity. Distance maximum was about 250 feet. But the unit works very well. Quality price and value well worth it.
