The Dunlop WHE701 "Aqua-Puss" Delay by Way Huge is the perfect analog delay effect box for that 40's~50's Chicago style electric Blues sound. I'm using it with 15watt Gibson amp and a 10" speaker. It rips and the WHE701 gives my harmonica more depth of character reminiscent of the "Chess" sound. The blend knob lets me dial in as much echo as I need. The delay knob enables control over the space of time of the echo. The feedback knob controls the number of repeats. It's all perfect for that Little Walter style or Louisiana "Excello" sound. The "Aqua Puss" is Way-Huge and way smooth. Creamier tone as compared to a digital sound. Spacious and just what the Blues doctor ordered. Dunlop also makes the DC-Brick DCB10 Multi-Power Supply which saves on 9volt batteries and enables me to add on up to 10 different effects. Vintage echo to accomadate my Green Bullet mic!!!Read full review
I was looking for an analog delay to compliment my digital delay on my pedal board and I've really fallen in love with this pedal. Sounds great and simple to use. Great price too.

I absolutely love it! I had my doubts - but as soon as I plugged in and hit the switch - those doubts vanished with the first tape-like repeat. I purchased an extra, just because they look so darn good! Actually I needed one for my second rig... ; - ) The Cool Audio MN3205 delay chip seems to be a winning ticket! Again - I had my doubts. Looking at the interior of the MKII, Mr. Tripps made sure that MXR used only the best quality of production. I want to say that the MKII is sporting a more sophisticated compander circuit... This would would explain its quiet natured performance. Great job guys - the MKII is a WINNER
Easy, silent and smooth operating device, probably quality components, solid built which gives a warm, natural and 'analog' sounding echo, especially in the slapback range, in my ears.

Great pedal. Only 300 ms but is good for almost any song. 500 ms would be nicer. Nice blend circuit. You can really hear the distinction between your clean guitar and the delay effect. Overall...well worth the money.
