Repair Manual
I would get the official honda repair/service manual, this lacks some details. The book covers different models so most instructions are generic and unspecific. They tend to lack coverage of DPFI a bit. I pulled and replaced my engine following this when I got stuck, however I pretty much tagged everything. they lacked valve adjustment specs and torque down seq/tq specs for the d15b2 engine which is in the 91 std & dx hatchback, be prepared to look around on the internet. There is a whole chapter on overhauling the engine and checking tolerances. It's a lot better than nothing, if you can't get a hold of the official, go for this, the price is cheap.I would get the official honda repair/service manual, this lacks some details. Save money on your gas saver!
Lets face it.... cars are a luxury, therefore an expense. The simple fact is, no matter how you look at it, even if your car runs perfect all the time, you still have to put gas in it to make it go. Expense! But who's car runs perfect all the time? If you have one, let me know so I can get one too! But honestly, at some point in time your car needs some attention. Whether it is the simple oil change, brakes, or something more difficult, wouldn't it be nice to do it yourself as opposed to shelling out a bunch of cash to have someone else do it for you? The Haynes line of repair manuals are perfect for the novice level and up do it yourselfers! Not only do they put the tasks in an easy to understand text, they use excellent photographs to accompany the written repair. Making this a extremely ...
