The WD Caviar Black 1001FALS is built around SATA II, giving you data transfer rates of up to 3.0 Gb/s. This Western Digital device is an HDD that can automatically optimize the order in which it executes read and write commands. It is able to perform these tasks thanks to the Native Command Queuing (NCQ) extension. This device can also provide hot-pluggable point-to-point connections to increase the flexibility of its hardware.
