      Brilliant easy pattern, ideal for a beginner

      I bought this pattern for my mum. She is a size 16, a bit large around the middle and so I thought the shape of this top would suit her. I have now made it three tops up for using the pattern and it is brilliant. The pattern is not complicated and so it is ideal for the beginner. There are no facings, zips or openings - only the pleats at the front (easy) and the easing in of the sleeves. The shape is definitely flattering, it fits well and the sizing seems perfect. I have even made the sleeveless version for myself and it looks great. I can definitely recommend this patterm
