    I have been using this same model watch for close to 40 years. Very dependable, long-lasting and very much water-resistant. I NEVER take it off for any reason unless it is for a hospital procedure. I do have to say I am hesitant to change the battery because it is no longer water-proof. These watches were hard to come by a few years back but are getting easier to find now. They are ONE HECK OF A WATCH. They have withstood gas, oil, paints, reducers, chemicals of all kinds, and anything!

    Timex continues to be the leader in reasonably-priced full function wrist watches.

    This is the fifth Timex full function watch I have had over the last 50 years so one might believe I like Timex full function watches. The price is reasonable and the watch works well. This particular watch exhibits a problem with the Indiglo night light but I rarely wish to use it and will likely not miss not having use of the function. However the timers all appear to work well. It is a good no-nonsense multifunction wrist watch. It is the one for me.

    but for the buttons.

    After wearing them for 20 years I will have to find something else. The buttons to set time are the weak point. I bought two of them new and the buttons to set the time gave out before I could finish setting time and date. The plating on the cases wear through if the buttons do not give out first. A good watch if for not the twice yearly time change. I might even consider two of them, an hour apart, but I can not get even one set to the initial tme.

    Not worth it

    Very disappointed in the new Timex watches. Bought one about 5 weeks ago & the watch broke out by the band pin. Got a second one a few weeks back & the same thing happened. Not sure if these watches are some cheap Chinese knockoffs or what. I had the same model of watch that I wore for 5 years & beat the hell out of it & it finally stopped working. Got my money out of that one. Two watches in the last 5 weeks, I am done with Timex.

    Great timepiece
