    New twist on classic blues

    Blues fans will be familiar with all these old Robert Johnson songs but these have been given a delightful twist by Peter Green and his excellent backing cohorts. Not an 'anoraks-only' collection this will delight both hardcore blues fans and those seeking an insight to this genre.

    peter green +the splinter group

    One of several splinter group albums with peter green formerly of fleetwood mac ,nigel watson was the man who helped peter ,get back into gigging again ,after suffering many years of depression ,now he,s back touring and recording ,As any one will know these albums are mainly blues covers and peter,s own compositions ,this album is well worth a listen ,and i,d go as far to say essential to any blues fan .
