    Great film--highly recommend it!

    Danny Kaye's Hans Christian Andersen Video is a wonderful old-fashioned story about the famous Danish author of fairy tales. It has lots of fun musical song and dance numbers as well as a charming romantic story within the movie plot.

    A cobbler has a gift for telling stories and delights his listeners, but leaves his town for the big city.

    This dvd played well and the music was sensational and the unterplay with Danny Kaye and the children was lovely. I could have seen less ballet, but the fairy tale aspect of the biography was fun.
