Three days and around 12 hours viewing later, so far, so good. My TV is back in full working order. Removing and reinstalling the board isn't too difficult. Just be careful to take a photo of the board before you start so that you remember where all the connectors go, keep track of all the screws, and make sure the board is well packed!
