      Get an extra hand.

      Recieved the vise about a week before the shipper told me it would be there. Out of the box it was beautiful. Installation was very easy to install. I used hard maple for the face plates. It's a lighter duty vice that I use to hold delicate pieces it has enough grip for what I'm building and no marks.If you are wondering if it's a good deal I would tell you no for the price it's a great deal.

      Small but good value for money.

      I have not used my item very long so I can't really say too much about quality, but it looks like good quality so far. I have mounted it and used it for wood work projects for about a week. Remember it is a small device, but big enough to handle most common stock dimentions. It feels like it is strong and solid, so if you don't need anything bigger it is great value for the price. I have bought two now, so that I can use it for longer pieces of wood.

      Good basic wood workers vise

      Good basic wood workers vise. Good price, does what it should if a bit basic. If you are a dedicated woodworker you will want a larger vise with a bench dog and possibly quick release. However for small jobs and a quick clamp up this one does the trick. Put it on your everyday bash and beat work bench and you will be very happy.

      Irwin 6.5 wood workers vice

      This is a smaller vice and you have to add wood blocks to the inside to make it ready... if you are looking for a vice for smaller projects this is a well worth investment.
