Seller was dutiful and solid. However, US Postal Service must have been rough on shock and item was permanently broken in transit. Seller immediately filed claim; we had to take item, packing, box to Post Office for visual inspection and surrender item. Upon providing photo of receipt of same, Seller refunded full amount. Believe seller to be fine for future transactions as they acted properly.

This was advertised as NEW but it came in no box, patched chips that was in the description and a fresh chip probably done in packaging although she’s denying it ,maybe implying we did it? She has changed the selling price on the sold page maybe because she offered for us to send it back, seems odd. Anyway good ratings don’t always mean this is a good seller. I would beware.

As I said in previous emails. I am sorry you are not happy with your purchase. As you mentioned the chips were in the details. You never sent me a picture of another chip. If it was done in shipping I can open an insurance claim. New doesn't necessarily mean it comes with a box. There was no box in the photos or description. And I can't change the selling price on the sold page. That is all controlled by ebay. Not sure what benefit changing it would be to anyone. Return still an option.

  • Useful book for making small quilts

I bought this book after seeing the author on an episode of Simply Quilts. I was intrigued with her work and went looking for all her titles. This book has quite a few quilt designs, all for single block quilts that measure about 45 inches square. I count 19 designs. The color photography is good. The directions seem clear, and there is helpful cutting advice for using directional prints in each design. I believe I'll find this book useful for finding ways to use hard to use prints, charity quilts, and small decorative quilts to add color to a room. This book seems to fill a need not filled by other books in my (growing) collection of quilting books.

  • Sew One and You're Done

I recently visited my local quilt shop and on display was one of the quilts from Evelyn Sloopy's book, "Sew One and You're Done". It is one of the smaller quilts, page 31 - "Garden Magic". The one on display was done in pinks and greens, which was just the perfect colours for my Granddaughter's baby. I am very impressed by the layout of all the patterns in this book: the cutting instructions and fabric requirements are featured on the first page making fabric shopping much easier, (even if you're shopping through your own supply of fabrics). I love the fact that most of the patterns instructions, if not all, are on two pages only. Plus, another wonderful feature is the FULL PAGE COLOUR picture of the quilt. I strongly recommend this book for quilters.

  • Good Time Saver

This book offers many ideas for time saving quilts that are beautiful! All the quilts are all lap quilt size, so your creativity is needed to make larger quilts.
