- k***y (443)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseSo far so good, the festoon globes all have an aluminium heatsink back so it can cause a short circuit if installed in fittings that have fuse type clips to hold the globe, you will need to insert a plastic strip at one end to stop the end contact touching the heatsink and use plastic washers with a 8.5mm centre hole for fuse clip type globe holders. There is a gap between one end cap and the heatsink to prevent a short circuit but I would recommend still inserting a thin plastic strip.
