Smashed my screen and as it s a Garmin 1000 there was no chance of a warranty repair :-)£35 versus 100 s seemed a fair risk.Arrived precisely on time and they did say it was C grade so I will not moan about very minor screen burn where the Power Off dialog goes. Otherwise its perfect.Took 10 mins to fit after sweating a bit watching some Youtube clips, but it s pretty easy. Just need some small torx bits.Powered up first time and even let me save my last ride!

    Replacement screen

    Saved me buying a new Garmin so, whilst not cheap, it has saved me a lot more! Very easy to fit - my only advice would be make sure you get the right tools to unscrew the back and the Internal board. I used a hex to open the back but needed to borrow a different type of tool (non-hex) to remove the internal board.

    more or less 'as new'

    would definitely recommend, the screen is 'as new' other than a couple of tiny hairline scratches that you can only see when the device is off and you hold it up to the light. You can't see these when in use. Very easy to fit with a T6 & T5 screwdriver.
