The item is listed as an oil however it is in solid form when it arrives. After contacting the seller she advised warming the bottle up in water or a radiator. I did this and it did melt the oil however as soon as it cools it hardens again. Every time you want to use this you have to melt it ! This is not made clear on the sellers site

    Perfect and less time wasting

    Bought originally just to try and was very impressed with how it quickly melts .. it has a goaty smell on melting but is quick and easy to use.. Easy to to colour and fragrance .. less time consuming and messing about with lye and sets really solid.

    Very simple for for soap making project

    This was my first try at making soap and found it pretty simple, although I did make one mistake by putting the soap in a Pyrex dish to melt in the micro oven. I found that the centre of the soap melted ok, but the soap on the sides of the dish were setting too quickly, so after trying another melt in a plastic jug it worked fine. So will be buying more soap mix soon.
