There's a bit of a learning curve with this radio. The manual is a tricky read in my opinion, so I just use it as reference should the need arise. Works quite well as expected by plugging in a Sangean reel antenna. The quality is very good, and looks good. unit was well packed and survived the trip. A device that's easy to travel with and good battery life between charges and priced reasonably.

Vhf/uhf sensitivity is very good. The only setbacks are the poor mw sensitivity, static can be louder than the average volume of any received signal and the front end can overload and create spurious signals in strong rf environments. Far superior than the malahit sdr receivers.

This is an incredibly sensitive receiver which is now at the top of my short list for DX'ing. SW bands are easily scanned and dialed in. Product as described, and fast shipping at a great price...what more could I ask? Actually, I wouldn't mind if Retekess made a feature rich kitchen table sized DX radio with external antenna inputs...
