Shipping was fast and the item was as described. Came with a USB charger and a cigarette lighter adapter. Some of the keys have scuffs on them that aren't in the product photos, but that's because the seller reuses the same photos for all listings of this model.

    More than I expected

This is a great phone. It looks just like new. It has a lot of helpful apps and you can access the internet through Wi-Fi I wasn't expecting that. I love the sliding screen and awesome keyboard. YouTube videos look pretty good. Its a small phone with a lot of potential. Love it so far!

I'm sure this was once a really great phone

Unfortunately, times and technology change and because this is a older phone, it just isn't up to today's standards. Although it's an Android, I'm thinking it's one of the first generations so although you can access Google Play and all the aps, almost none of them are compatible with this phone which makes functionality tough. However, if you're OK with that, and can charge the phone every 2 hours or so, the call quality is good and I love the slide out qwerty keyboard.

  • Goodbye Windows Mobile, Hello Android!

This phone was a replacement for my Samsung Omnia Windows Mobile Phone. I was looking for a device that was more stable and had a keyboard. While it maybe a little slower then other Andriod phones, navigation between menus and screens are very easy. Ease of adding on widgets and short cuts are very nice. Since I had an account with Google and a Windows phone designed to sync information with the account, all I had to do is type in my username and password into my Android phone and all my contacts and calendar events were up and running in seconds. I also was able to find Widgets that matched the Today screen on my old Windows phone. The widgets are a lot easier to navigate without bumping the wrong thing on the screen. ThinkFree Office comes standard with the LG Ally, which was another ...

  • Easy to use - But ....

The reason I purchased this phone was because I had one and lost it. The phone I purchased is not the same quality as the first phone I had. Not sure if LG started to manufacture them differently, this one is just a lemon or if I just happened to purchase a knock off Lg phone. Battery life on initial phone was not great but lucky to get through a day with out phone battery dying now. If you use internet just plug it in because the battery will not stand up to internet use at all. Sometimes the screen will not conform from vertical to horizontal. A few times it has just frozen and I've had to take the battery out to reset. The charger I received with this phone was a joke. It lasted only 2 weeks before it died. Luckily I had the charger from the previous Ally I had and am currently ...

  • Great phone if you don't mind rolling up your sleeves and flashing Velocity

My wife wanted a slide-out keyboard. I would have liked a slightly smaller form-factor...but she keeps it in her purse, not pocket...so it isn't a big deal. Barely larger than her ENV3 it replaced. It DID run a little slow until I flashed Velocity 1.1 on it. Google it, it isn't that bad. -Rooted with super one click -Installed Clockwork Rom Manager -Flashed recovery -Put Velocity 1.1 on micro sd card (zip file) -Rebooted into recovery, cleared all user data + delvik cache -Flashed Velocity 1.1 ...this thing runs like a dream and the wifi seems to drain my battery way slower than my OG Droid. I did use the Velocity Toolkit to overclock a little (825mHz, from 600ish stock). Only con, can't seem to get Flash working on it. Still trying...has to do with the processor type ...
