    Wrap yourself up in a craft project.

    I recently learned to knit and shawls are a good way to use up that left over yarn that you don't have quite enough of for a sweater or an afghan. The ones in this selection are all within my knitting range (mostly intermediate-this is the rate of difficulty) and had patterns that I liked. I did not give it a 5 however because it turns out that 3 or 4 of the shawls in this collection I already have in other books so they were not new patterns or designs.

    I LOVE this book!!!

    I love this book! I am an experienced crocheter who is just learning to knit. The patterns are great..there is something for everyone..all levels. This book is also full of inspiration and stories from people who have made or received prayer shawls..very touching and inspiring. You don't even have to be a church-going person to enjoy this book. This book was worth every penny :-) I was also lucky to have purchased it from rosebudlady, who was a fantastic ebayer!

    It is a great value for the money!

    The Prayer Shawl Companion has even more patterns to work up as gifts for friends, family, shelter's, hospital chapel's, nursing home's, children's hospital's, cancer patient's, our servicemen and servicewomen, veteran's. Just about anyone can use a prayer shawl or lap robe, even the baby blanket style patterns.
