    Fun Overall, but with Accuracy Issues

    With all of the 1/35 Tiger I kits on the market, one with a full interior used to be rare when Academy released this kit in 1996. Now there are at least three or four (Rye Field Model) with complete interiors as well. However, they can also be priced out of range for the casual modeler, but the Academy kit is cheaper and that doesn't mean it's an inferior choice. However, it does suffer some accuracy issues if you want to build a correct representation of the Tiger I. Listing a few, the turret isn't asymmetrical as it was on the real tank, the frontal plate (where the bow machine gun is located) isn't quite right for an Early Production Tiger I (The Early, Mid and Late production tags were done by modelers years ago to distinguish between the different tanks, not just the Tiger) and the ...

    Not a Toy, but a work of art

    The German Panzers are some of the deadliest tanks of WW II. This model is a great representation of the Engineering of the German people. The model is not for beginners and is more for the intermediate to regular modelers, meaning that it will present trouble to those who are not used to putting together a complex model. This one takes patience, a steady head, and a desire to make a work of art. But it is just a model, if that is your thinking then this is not a kit for you as it will test your limits, some depending upon when or where in the manufacturing process may need to be cleaned more then others, early kits and end kits need more cleaning with the mid range having less clean up this is do to the tool and dies of injection molds.     Super Detailed Tank fit for a Tanker

    Super detailed tank for the tank enthusiast, every thing inside and out just as it was in the Early Version of the Tiger 1 / Panzer VI Version of this great tank.     1/35 scale TIGER 1 with FULL interior.

    Where do i start! Academy has produced an increadable amout of detail inside & out for this kit of the famous early Tiger tank. There are 18 tri colour spruces which barly fit into a large size box & excellent decals & photo etch. Its a complete interior everyting you wanted to know about how the tiger worked inside down to drivers instruments & even fuel tanks! I always wanted a full interior tiger & this is it & price is fantastic considering how much u get. Im 72 scale normally but this will be the highlight when finished. Highly recomended.

    Academy 1/35 German Tiger with FULL interior

    I have done this kit about 8 years ago, but this time it's been updated. This has a FULL interior (had it last time.but I think it has some improvement) . If your into tanks, you'll love this one.
