      Dunlop banjo capo

      Simple and easy to use. I have this capo rest on the banjo's nut when not in use, then just slide it to any fret as needed. One caution though, if your banjo has a thin nut, like many imports have, the capo my not stay on the nut. The small size of the capo is nice, as it don't get in the way of my left hand fingering like some bigger capo's do. An added plus is that you never lose it. I have a friend that has been using this style of capo for over 30 years on his 1923 Gibson banjo and won't use any other kind. That says something.

      Capo

      This type of capo is not as easy to put on as the the plastic or metal clamp style capo but ways less intrusive on the finger board and less likely to scratch my instrument. I have 3 different styles of capos and this old style is still my favorite! Thanks

      dunlop elastic banjo capo

      you can slip it over the nut onto the headstock without changing pitch, so you won't have to look for it anywhere if you drop it
