It arrived in perfect condition. Once I securely braced the hood with a 2x4 so I could remove the worn-out hood support (a YouTube video can help you in taking it out, it involves removing a clip from each end of the piston/rod, using a screwdriver), the new one easily snapped right into place! Just like new. And it was a very good price. With the free shipping, I saved almost $10 from what it would have cost elsewhere.

Didn't know u just need to pry up the clip instead of taking them off which I did and had a hell of a time putting them back on. A simple illustration would had helped. Maybe the clip should had been in the ready to install state.
