    The Animal Planet movie and more

    My kids loved the Animal Planet version of Dragons many years ago (well, 3 of them, anyway - my oldest was greatly disturbed by it), and I was thrilled to find it on DVD. I had girded myself for the disappointment of having bought the wrong movie or a boot-legged, low quality copy, so I was delighted to pop it in and be immediately transported back to my children's childhood. Iirc, the Animal Planet version was shorter, with less content - for instance, I do not remember having seen the Chinese dragon section - so this turned out to be even a better purchase than I had hoped. Love it, and I look forward to sharing it with my future grandchildren some day.

    Now I wonder if dragons were real.

    I’ve seen this as a documentary online a long time ago, but I’ve never seen this one with the people interacting before. The storytelling about the creatures is fantastic. I love rediscovering the spectacle of the fire breathing dragons. It even makes me believe that they really discovered the remains of a mythical creature from legend
