    Great classic loco still useful and value for money

    The Wrenn 0-6-2 tank locomotive has its origins in the Hornby Dublo 0-6-2T of the 1930’s. That in itself makes it an absolute classic. The chassis is not the same as the original Hornby Dublo type- rather it is a modified version of the Hornby Dublo 0-6-0T chassis itself from the 1950’s.. The model is hugely robust the body being diecast with simple detail only. The chassis is ultra reliable and easy to repair. Despite the age of design it will run perfectly on modern track. So many of these are around that only the rarer mint in originsal box examples command a high price. Repaints unboxed models are cheap and offer great value for money
