    "Bullfighter" - One of several wonderful works by Susan Orlean

    I discovered Susan Orlean from her collection of essays "Saturday Night" and am a big fan of her writings. This collection has many delightful and fascinating looks at the ordinary and the extraordinary of an array of personalities For me, the highlight is a profile of an average 10 year old boy, written after Orlean had declined to do an "average American kid" write up of the hardly average or ordinary Macauley Culkin. For me, the child Susan writes about is far more interesting than a Hollywood write-up. The other stories delight as well.
