Fantastic study Bible
This study Bible is simply fantastic. The authors did an absolutely amazing job. It is incredibly well-written. Choosing to read the Bible honors God, and this study Bible will help you to take your understanding to a new level. It is an absolute delight to have. I’ve given a copy to roughly a dozen friends of mine. Each person I’ve given a copy to has absolutely loved it, and has been very grateful. Use it for College
I bought this Bible on the *strong* recommendation of one of my professors. I'm going to a Christian college, and Bible classes are, of course, part of the curriculum. This translation has more of a word-for-word approach than NIV. Where the NIV may leave something completely out, this Bible includes it with an explanation of why it is controversial, or why the Hebrew could have been interpreted differently. You also get excellent illustrations--maps, diagrams, tables... like a full two-page color diagram of the Tabernacle that Moses built during the Exodus! I would definitely recommend this Bible to anyone (not looking for a pocket Bible lol). Easy to use, lots of extra information, makes studying the Bible even MORE interesting (did you know that was possible?).I bought this Bible on the *strong* recommendation of one of my professors. There are 2750 full size pages of this English Standard Version (translation) in a hardback cover. It's also a study edition that includes various types of indexes, references, annotations & illustrations. This is a large & heavy book. The print is small. There's nothing particularly fancy, new, or exciting about this edition. But, for the reader of the bible who prefer the ESV translation, this is the study version to own~There are 2750 full size pages of this English Standard Version (translation) in a hardback cover. It's also a study edition that includes various types of indexes, references, annotations & illustrations. This is a large & heavy book. The print is small. There's nothing particularly fancy, new, or exciting about this edition. But, for the reader of the bible who prefer the ESV translation, this is the study version to own~

The ESV version was put together like the King James with the exception of language that is a few more centuries up to date. Never has any bible been clearer for me to read. The notes are outstanding and effectively guide the reader in interpreting scripture and goes even further to help the reader understand conflicting interpretations, the arguments thereof, so as to discern truth from error. I would strongly suggest any believer to add this to his/her collection of study material.The ESV version was put together like the King James with the exception of language that is a few more centuries up to date.
