The item is well made and should be a powerful deterrent to a would-be bike thief. The holder that comes with it MIGHT be useful on some bikes but is useless on mine: I’ll find an alternative way of carrying the U-lock when it’s not in use. Overall, IMO the item is good value for money.

The width and the longitude are not enough to lock both the frame and the back wheel against a metal post or a fence. Quality is extremely good but to me, this product is useless because parts of the bike get on risk, specially the wheels.

Hi, item description has clear dimension of this U lock. To meet your needs, it's recommended to purchase a chain lock instead of U lock.
