Do not buy!! SCAM Item is not as described, received item different than what the photos are. Even when asking them for a simple refund, or for them to send me the correct item, they tried to lowball me with small dollar amounts rather than a refund.

As described but have purchased this one to replace another which had broken pretty quickly. This is better due to the metal connector on the larger plastic thread. A previous purchase snapped on the 3rd use so I believe this unit to be stronger. Works great and recommend this product.I have included a pic of the broken product on the left and my new, stronger, purchase on the right. Look for the large brass connector!

Pretty good replacement for paper cartridge, but very hard to get the algae out of it. Tried washing it under a garden hose, then soaked it in Chlorine and water, then hit it with th pressure sprayer. That did it no longer green, back to a sort of blue colour. But it does work well in the filter, so will be buying some more when the weather gets a bit warmer. Came vacuum sealed in plastic bag through the post. Item as described, well packaged and as described. Recommend seller and product.
