    Support HDD up to 8TB

    Bought this card to replace Perc6/I which only handle max 2TB HDD. Perc H700 with FW 12.10.3 can handle 8TB (SAS/SATA) HDD nicely. Didn't know why my Dell T610 halted on this card using default slot but using extra slot this card worked just fine.

    Works but not as expected - Dell PowerEdge R710

    I ordered this card to replace a stock Dell PERC 6i in a Dell PowerEdge R710 however, this does not work when plugging into the Raid card slot. It will function when plugged into another expansion slot and the old PERC 6i card in the Raid card slot. Also, discovered that I needed to order different cables, so make sure you know if you need these cables.

    Great Upgrade!

    Installed the controller in my R710 and now I can increase its storage capacity from 8tb to 40tb using 5tb 2.5 drives.... Awesome!
