    Perfect replacement.

    Fit and operates perfectly. The chop saw is part of our manufacture built into fixturing to use abrasive cut-off blade to cut steel tubing. The motor failed after many years of use. This replacement motor had the saw back in service in 10 minutes. Never expected I could purchase a brand new motor for a 20 year old saw for $40.

    Bad news with a great outcome

    When my old 10" Delta stopped working my two brothers more knowledge about tools than me, after determining it wasn't just a fuse, said, "Get a knew on and trash this one." Well I did get the new one and that's great but I just couldn't just toss out my old one. On a whim I used Bing and entered the part number for a replacement motor. Ebay popped up with one for only about $49/$50 dollars including shipping. I couldn't resist! It arrived, looked new, installed it and the saw worked perfectly. My new one is now in my home shop. I took my old Delta up to my little campsite tool shed. Perfectly happy.

    Perfect solution

    This old saw I bought in the 1990's is like new again. The base of this saw is indestructible and that's why I didn't pitch it. After looking for a new Jackshaft everywhere on the web I stumbled upon this completely new motor assembly. All parts I needed were obsolete and discontinued so this was perfect. And for the price, a no brainer.
