I received two of the first buck grunt calls made as a gift from the maker. They worked so well I wondered if grunt calls would be legal. I gave one to my Uncle who had the same results. This call is far superior to those early pre-market models since the vocals are adjustable making a full range of sounds from mature bucks to does and fawns. However, the deer I have called to in more recent years seem more unresponsive to calls. Calling or attempting to call deer adds a fun element to deer hunting and is worth trying, perhaps the next deer will be very responsive. Awesome call...Actually works!
I purchased one of these based on the good reviews. It was the best purchase that I have ever made in my 40 years of hunting whitetail deer here in Alabama. After success on my first attempt using this call, I purchased one for my son and one for my daughter in law. Between the 3 of us, we called up 2 spike bucks, one 5 point and one 10 point buck in only 3 trips into the woods. All these bucks acted identical in their response to the call. They ran full speed out of the thickets to get in on the realistic sounds of a doe followed by a tending buck grunt - all sounds made from this one call with a simple slide of the buck to doe button on this great call. Purchase one of these and use during the rut. If there is a buck in the woods, get your gun ready...he will come in fast. Best ... I purchased one of these based on the good reviews. Best deer call I've seen
In the past I've hunted with the Bone Collector calls, Primos calls, ect. but none compare to the extinguisher and it's easy to use with 1 hand or 2 and sounds like a deer every time. I'll always make sure I have this call before hitting the woods

Calling deer is not as straight forward as calling turkey.
This is well made with an easy to use, positive tone control. I have yet to actually call in any deer, but it sounds good and I did have a possible response that I heard from a distance while just testing it in a non-hunting situation.
