Dusting off and restoring some of Dads Lionel collection. The Sunoco sign was flaking and could not be saved, also the oil barrels were missing. Glad I checked Ebay and found Hennings Trains! This is just what I needed for the Lionel 455 Oil Derrick and Pumper. I was a bit concerned that one of the numbers painted on the 455 was faded somewhat, maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist. but thought was worth mentioning (see picture) but at least I have a fresh new sign for this keepsake. Thankyou !

I will tell what I don’t love about them. They don’t work. They are not supposed to pop out this far. I don’t think they are Lionel parts. There only suppose open half way. Not like what you see in the picture.

We can assure you these are Lionel knuckle couplers, we get them directly from Lionel. Our guess is you need a knuckle with a longer inner tab or the inner part of coupler is worn. Glad to try to help find the correct part needed.
