    Another WD Dead at 1 year.

    As another person mentioned, my drive died at 1 year almost to the day. Its supposed to last 3 years correct (warranty)? No matter which way I laid the drive I have a very loud ticking noise after one year. I believe that sounds means the heads are smacking around inside the drive aimlessly. Very disappointed. WD used to be a fantastic product.

    Marginal quality.

    NICE Overall price for a NEW one. Purchased mine LESS than 12 months ago. Yet it only lasted 11 months until Death Came to it. Maybe a "fluke", but stinks to only last less than 1 year.
