Die Ergebnisse der Textanalyse akzentuieren in ethischer Perspektive das Leitmotiv Abaelards: die Bestimmung der Moralitat des Einzelnen in Abhangigkeit von der zugrunde liegenden Intention. In handlungstheoretischer Perspektive ergibt sich mit Blick auf die Struktur menschlichen Handelns eine Diskussion uber die Bedeutung des Akteurs sowie uber das eigene Verhaltnis von Intention und Aktion. Als Begriff der umfassenden Handlungsanalyse nimmt die Intention Bezug auf die Beschreibung und auf die Beurteilung von Handlungen. Zusammen mit den zentralen Aspekten der Vernunftigkeit sowie der Begrundetheit des Handelns offenbart sich daruber der besondere Stellenwert des handelnden Subjekts und der konsequente, mitunter geradezu uberfordernde Anspruch der Ethik Abaelards.
