Different Use!!!
We have built a “Toy Hauler”, but as the rear door is also our access ramp, I had to build it tough - therefore a little heavy. Prior to purchasing, I asked my wife if she could close and ope the ramp by herself - she could, but I could see she was not comfortable with it. Found this and purchased it, installed and showed “Da Boss”, well received!!! Very Happy with the winch.... Cheap and will suit me fine for my intermittent use pulling my camper into the garage.
Lead from remote to winch motor could be longer, I have it floor mounted to my garage floor and i have to bend down to use the remote. The buttons require a firm pressure to keep the motor engaged. Motor mechanics are noisy (due to the gering no doubt). I wear ear muffs when using the winch.
