Have a best friend, years back, he had this 8-track in his car & played it for me to listen to. Prior to this aside from Todd Rundgrens' Utopia & some long progressive instrumentral passages in Yes music, I found instrumental music boring. I loved to sing (good/well or bad). No words? What's the point? Then: Jeff Beck early solo recordings, man, what flow, what syncopation, no notes wasted & was that all played w/guitar & by one lead player. It took you someplace. the critics & rock writers were calling it 'Jazz Fusion'. It was like that & still like no other. You would have to coin a new term in the Rock'n'Roll lexiccon just to talk about it or describe it. All of a sudden. you knew why Jeff Beck would be called one of the 3 possibly best guitar players in Rock'n'Roll.

I love the CD and all the songs on it. Unfortunately, this was a used item and about half the songs on the CD skip and stick. So it is not enjoyable to listen to.
