Bishara describes the life cule and habits of the scarb beetle, and Professor Ward also discusses the significance of the scarab form. Volume II, by Olga Tufnell, continues the stylistic history, covers the roal-name scarabs, and extends the study to include the archaeology of Middle Bronze Age Palestine. (
