ZERO HOUR! has an unfortunate claim to fame--it was one of the films that the spoof comedy flick AIRPLANE! was based on.     Ideas for the movie Airplane

    I bought this movie because I heard that it was the inspiration for the Zucker brothers' Airplane movie. Airplane pretty much follows the storyline of Zero Hour but of course the Zucker brothers made fun of practically everything in the movie. They bought the rights for the movie when it became available. My husband and I laughed when we recognized the parts from Airplane. The acting is overdone but if you can watch this with tongue in cheek you'll enjoy it.
