While it is not an OEM Jeep air filter, it was pretty easy to install in the stock air filter port. I will see how my Jeep performs with the filter installed. All four edges of the new filter align tight against the interior stock air filter port. While I haven't driven my Jeep long distances with this new air filter in place, I anticipate that it will function fine, without giving off any error codes.
