Designed to route music to a multi-speaker home theater audio setup, this amplifier’s 12 configurable channels assures you maximum audio output and sound quality. Niles’ SI-1230 amplifier delivers exceptional sound quality and reliability and is designed to integrate into a cohesive home theater audio system. This power amplifier offers unique features (such as a bridgeable configuration, three turn-on modes, and independent level check controls for each channel) that solve some of the most common multi-room audio installation problems and make exciting new opportunities possible. Enjoy warm audio sound in six rooms, or combine two channels into one to give your speakers more power, a great option for power hungry outdoor speaker installation. Use a single turn-on channel for mono sound and installation in smaller listening areas, like closets or bathrooms. The three new 2-channel amplifiers use oversized heat sinks to eliminate the need for cooling fans, which is great when not installed in a rack. Each power amplifier can be operated in stereo or bridgeable mode and can be hooked up to 8 ohm or 4 ohm loads. When operating in stereo mode there is independent level control for each channel. There is one set of stereo inputs and one set of outputs for cascading multiple amps. The Niles SI -1230’s amp power output is enormous. Even when driven simultaneously, all 12 channels deliver 30 watts RMS into 8 ohms for a total of 360 watts. Bridging adjacent channels enables the amp to produce 80 watts into 8 ohms for each bridged pair (480 watts total). When the Niles SI1230 is used in a multi-zone system, only the amp powering the zone in use turns on, saving power and reducing noise. A BusMatrix selector makes routing easy and dedicated input allows for multi zone use. The status display alerts you if the amplifier needs troubleshooting and helps take the search out of keeping things running smoothly. The Niles SI-1230 is also rack-mountable for flexible speaker setup options. The SI-1230’s BusMatrix incorporates advanced PCB construction ensuring extremely high channel to channel isolation. Signal to noise ratios and cross talk are equivalent to a professional mixing board found in an audio recording studio. With the Niles SI-1230, the music playing in the living room cannot interfere with the music in the den. All Niles Systems Integration Amplifiers come with a removable line cord and manual rack mount ears and feature three turn-on modes: Music Sense, External Voltage Trigger, and Manual Turn-On via the front panel switch. Each amp also provides 12V DC output whenever the audio amplifier is on, allowing operation of voltage-triggered devices like motorized screens and curtains.     Great Multichannel Amplifier

    The Niles SI-2130 12 Channel Power Amplifier provides clean solid music across 12 channels or 6 zones of stereo speakers. The unit is configurable to allow the user to run mono left or right, stereo, and summed mono left and right combined all at the same time to different rooms. I purchased 2 Niles SI-2130 12 Channel Power Amplifiers for a whole house audio system I'm currently building. Being able to bridge adjacent channels into 80 watt channels makes this amplifier flexible enough to be used in almost any situition. The Niles SI-2130 12 Channel Power Amplifier is very heavy because of the massive transformer that powers all 12 channels. If your looking for a quality, well built amplifier for whole house audio this amp will not let you down.

    A great amp

    I think my place was previously wired with Niles audio equipment, so I bought this amp used to get sound back in a few rooms. I'm very happy with the results. I just plugged in a Chromecast audio and now it's a connected device. Dead silent when I'm not casting. Clean sound when I am. I'm already shopping for a second unit.
