Despite a high power (Amps) flowing through the meter (ca. 2300W or around 10A), it did not get warm. Numbers displayed made sense. It is a bit wide so you cannot plug anything next to it (regular Australian double-powerpoint orregular power-board). The tiny manual is difficult to read so I scanned it in as a PDF and printed on A4 with 'Fit to page'. The meter contains a battery, but the manual does not say much.
